Rates

I am out-of-network with all insurance providers. This means that you are responsible for paying out-of-pocket for sessions due at the time of service. However, to make therapy more accessible, I can provide you with a superbill (an itemized statement) that you can submit to your insurer for reimbursement depending on your benefits plan. Below are some questions to ask your insurance provider regarding mental health/therapy and out-of-network benefits:

  • Is mental health included in my insurance plan? If yes, what are my out-of network benefits regarding mental health?

  • What is my copay, coinsurance, or deductible for out-of-network mental health visits? Have I met the deductible yet?

  • How many therapy sessions are covered per calendar year, and do I need prior authorization?

  • Does this include seeing a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA)?

  • What is the reimbursement rate for individual therapy sessions?

  • What is the process for submitting claims for out-of-network therapy?

No Surprises/Good Faith Estimate: As per the No Surprises Act, you are entitled to a Good Faith Estimate for your cost of treatment. This is meant to protect out of pocket clients from surprise medical bills. A Good Faith Estimate is available upon scheduling or by request. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
